What is the Bag ‘n Tag? Each year, The Matlacha Hookers host the Bag ‘n Tag to raise monies for their ‘Hooked on Education’ Scholarship program.

This is a sad day for Pine Island, but of course a great day for King Ranch and the other big landowners. The 810/910 rules that have served us so well for 28 years are to be no more.

The Pine Island Plan rewrite has worked its way through the various advisory committees and is now nearly ready for review and approval by the county commissioners.
