A lot of hours and three years of hard work went into fixing the building. Everything except the foundation and concrete walls had to be fixed. It was a family affair with the three kids, 21 year old Nathaniel, 17 year old Aaron and 13 year old Rachel all helping with the rebuilding. The family stayed with good friends the Valcarcel family in St. James city for a total of 2 years while working on the building. They had a lot of help from out of state church and organizations. Mike and Pat are very thankful for all who helped and pray they never have to go through this again. The business is a third generation owned and operated business. Pine Island News was the first news paper on Pine Island and was first published in 1969. Ad & PrintCraft is a Printing, Marketing, Consulting and Website Development company that started in 1970. They look forward to many more years of serving the businesses on Pine Island and Matlacha.
