Summer Camp "Huge Success"

The Matlacha Community Center’s Summer Camp Concert was a “Huge Success”.
Pine Island brothers Warren & Gregory Van Kirk of Strange Arrangement with the help from the community orchestrating this event. T-shirts coloring pages, light & sound crew and even a special appearance by an Abominable Snowman.

All the kids were provided a meal by: JD owner of Waterfront Restaurant & Marina, located in St. James City. Just as they we all finishing eating you started hearing the kids chant "S-T-R-A-N-G-E that spells strange arrangement baby " "S-T-R-A-N-G-E that spells strange arrangement baby “ over and over getting louder & louder. Just then the curtain opens and boom a full 7-piece band lasers lights speaker towers donated by Jet Productions. The Matlacha Community Center was transformed into a small concert for the kids. With stunned/surprised looks on their faces the group of children walked up and sat down in front of the musicians. For about half a second before the infectious music of the Strange Arrangement hits, the kids couldn’t contain themselves. They started with a little wiggle then some turning and then a full-blown jiggle to dancing, singing, jumping and spinning.

Some of the kids even joined the band on stage to play Warrens Guitar. Just about that time the kids helped with an Abominable Snowman call."GLLLLLL" or something like that. "GLLLLLL", "GLLLLLL" What pops up from behind the band? The Abominable Snowman, the kids are now at full freak out fun mode now with the musical games lights & a live Wookie what next?

The band plays a few mellow songs to bring the energy level down a little. We all wave goodbye to the Abominable Snowman ......Strange Arrangement thanks everyone who was involved as the kids start yelling, encore, encore, encore.... Warren turns to brother Gregory they look back to the band & with out a word the Music is Alive again, after the show the band sign autographs & talk with the kids.

High fives all around up high, down low, in the middle.

Strange Arrangement would like to thank all the sponsors:
