LCSO Reports Stabbing on Luloma

UPDATE 12/7/23:
On or about 8:26 AM, Dec 05, 2023 Lee County Sheriff's Office reports it is investigating a stabbing death on Luloma Lane in Bokeelia.

Deputies say one person is dead and the investigation is still underway. Some neighbors have come forward and other witnesses are being interviewed.

The incident took place on property on the corner of Stringfellow and Luloma Lane about a mile north of the Center in what is technically Bokeelia. Investigation of this homicide includes two properties on Luloma Lane.

Luloma Traffic was blocked for over 6 hours.

Bokeelia Stabbing Update: On Tuesday, November 5th. During the homicide investigation on Luloma Lane, the Lee County Sheriff’s Department (LCSO) arrested Lori Leanne Quinn, 49, on battery charges, she was taken to the Lee County Jail on 12/5/2023 at 9:02 PM. Bond was set at $100,000.00.

During the investigation The LCSO talked to neighbors. One neighbor reported Ms. Quinn grabbed him and seemed upset after he declined to have sex with her around 1 a.m. and then a few hours later, around 3 A.M., that same neighbor found his girlfriend’s grandmother dead inside their home on Luloma Lane in Bokeelia, Florida.

This same neighbor reported they saw Lori Quinn inside the grandmother’s residence prior to finding her dead.

LCSO said the woman was stabbed with a kitchen knife in the chest and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigation is still underway.
